Mission
The Community Jobs Initiative is a collaboration of government agencies, public officials, private investors, small businesses, funders, community organizations, and community development groups to link economic and employment development at the local level.
Our collective mission has multiple & synergistic objectives:

Support public investment in businesses willing to commit to local hiring;

Foster partnerships between the private, public & non-profit sectors that nourish career path skills training for local residents; and

Encourage sustainable development by identifying local job opportunities for local residents that lessen commuting, thereby improving both the environment and family life.
