DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

Support the pack-out and delivery of food. Report to the Director of Operations. This position ensures that hot food, snacks, breakfasts, beverages and condiments are fulfilled accurately prior to leaving the site. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for the timely packout of all trucks and the readiness of all staging areas. The Dispatch Manager will provide training, supervision and support to all drivers, including when drivers assist with the pack out line. Additionally, this positon is responsible for maintenance for the vehicle fleet, facility and equipment used during pack out and delivery. They will monitor food safety on the trucks and bring issues to the Production Managers' attention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

OFFICE MANAGEMENT

1. Ensure the staging area is properly setup with items that were refrigerated the night before, and respond quickly and respectfully to staging area needs.

2. Ensure proper milk rotation

3.Monitor cambro tags to ensure accurate order fulfillment; identify and troubleshoot causes of inaccurate orders.

4. Double check trucks for order accuracy

5. Collect and monitor field temperature logs.

DRIVER TRAINING AND SUPERVISION

1. `Assist in the training of new drivers.

2. Supervise drivers and loading of the  trucks, facilitate daily driver meetings and assist in regularly scheduled evaluations of drivers.

3.Ready drivers for the pack-out line, ensuring they arrive on time and ready to begin.

4.Conduct periodic ride audits to ensure efficiency and accuracy in delivery. Serve as a secondary back-up driver when a driver is absent.

5.Validate driver hours and gas receipts.

6.Spot check truck cleanliness and resolve related problems.

EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES

1. Support preventive maintenance on all vehicles (including corporate vehicles) and keep DMV documents up to date

2.Develop and maintain list of equipment and fleet maintenance service providers; maintain fixit logs nd arrange maintenance as required

3.Manage inventory of utensils, small ware and other equipment being kept at schools.

COMMUNICATION DUTIES

1. Serve as the liaison between the drivers, kitchen and sales team for issues related to pack out and delivery of food

2.Establish a culture of respect, hard work, consisitency and effective communication in the kitchen and among the driving fleet

OTHER DUTIES

DESCRIPTION

The Expeditor will execute the accurate fulfillment of each days meals and will report to the Director of Operations. The Expeditor works with the retherm team and coordinates the pack out of hot meals. The expeditor will ensure all T-Tags are fulfilled according to quantity, quality, size and location. The Expeditor must have exceptional attention to detail, have the ability to work in a high pace, constantly changing environment while ensuring accuracy and timeliness up to 10,000 meal deliveries. The Expeditor is expected to be an active participant in all aspects of the kitchen from working with the production teams to cleanup. The position also carries the responsibility of supporting the administrative processes of our HACCP program. The Expediter will provide accurate documentation of heating and cooling HACCP compliance and will maintain temperature logs to document proper HACCP protocol.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Executes golden standards for all menu items per approved standard operating procedures from Executive Chef
2. Ensure food quality standards by showing a commitment to quality from the execution of SOP from start to finish including tasting the final product
3. Fulfills all orders according to T-Tags and staging schedule as communicated by the Director of Operations
4. Maintain a food safe environment, complying with State and Federal food safety policies
5. Assist in loading the delivery trucks per the packing slips and route schedules

The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and handle a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls. Responsibilities include scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments, dispatching drivers, calling warehouses, carriers and drivers to ensure that orders have picked up and delivered on time and communicating any issues with an order to the appropriate party. You will provide support in a fast paced, high-call volume office environment and will assist in completing additional operational and data entry tasks as necessary in a timely and accurate manner.
