The Community Jobs Initiative
In partnership with the LSNA, the LEED Council is promoting available job opportunities at businesses locating in the Green Exchange and the nearby North River and Rockwell Industrial Corridors. Job seekers are encouraged to register on our new interactive website, worklocal.org, designed to recruit and refer qualified candidates to local employers for job openings.
We are targeting job seekers in the Logan Square, Avondale, Hermosa, Humboldt Park and West Town community areas, and the Lathrop Homes initially.
Outreach will then expand to other communities in the city of Chicago to recruit additional job candidates with matching qualifications and work experience.
